Eurovision Song Contest 2013 host broadcaster SVT have named Martin Österdahl as the Executive Producer of the 2013 contest. 38-year-old Österdahl has previously been the project manager of Melodifestivalen and also chairman of the jury that selects the competing songs in Melodifestivalen.

Speaking to Expressen, Österdahl told they will carefully plan who are the hosts of the event and how the 2013 song contest will look like.

SVT is yet to decide where the contest takes place. Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö are the three choises at the moment.
