Christer Björkman confirms to Swedish tabloid newspaper Expressen that the host city of Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will be presented after summer holidays.
He also shoots down the rumours claiming that the contest would be held in all three cities, Gothenburg, Malmö and Stockholm.
“It would be great but then comes the logistical problems. Three cities would mean three venues and stages and of course all the staff, also the delegations would have to travel between the cities”, Björkman says.
Sweden’s three big cities are all willing to host the 2013 song contest, Malmö in the southern Sweden, Gothenburg in the west and Stockholm in its new arena in Solna Municipality.
