EUROVISION’S GREATEST HITS

March 31st, 2015

To celebrate the 60th Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Vienna, BBC and EBU are organizing a special concert in London. Several Eurovision artists are invited to perform their entries. In addition to the confirmed artists, there will be surprise acts as well, BBC promises.

The show is hosted by the Swedish 2013 Eurovision Song Contest hostess Petra Mede together with the BBC Eurovision commentator, Eurovision Dance Contest 2007 and 2008 host Graham Norton.

TICKETS

Tickets for the show went on sale on February 6th. Some tickets may still be available at Eventim which is the official site to purchase them.

One person can purchase up to four tickets for the show which will be recorded on March 31st in London. Because it won’t be aired live, it is not exactly clear how long the recording takes but BBC estimates three hours. Ticket prices vary between ~€57 and ~€94. Age limit is set to 14.

The capacity is approximately 5,000 – it is not announced how many tickets are on general sale.

VENUE

Eventim Apollo

Eventim Apollo (or Hammersmith Apollo) is hosting the concert with a capacity of 5,000 spectators. The venue, located in Hammersmith, west London was opened in the 1930s.
